Too Early For Celebrating
ZestI read some of my old tries at new chaps (for all three fanfics I have going) and actually didn't find them horrible. This is a big deal as I've hated everything I've written in the past year and a half. Oh sure I've had a brilliant sentence or two, but that was it.
I seriously have hundreds of tries at chaps. So after I wade through them I might have something to go with. That means an update could be sooner.
As I say, I'm not celebrating yet. I've thought before that I had breakthroughs that turned out to be nothing more than an anomaly. So far this one has beaten out all those times.
I watched a few anime episodes yesterday too. I checked out a couple of Inuyasha episodes, some Gundam Seed Destiny, and I really enjoyed watching them. I've seen them all before of course, but I didn't realize just how much I loved and missed those animes. I didn't dare watch an old Naruto episode. I was afraid it might alter my thinking toward the fanfics. I was terrified of doing anything that might jeopardize my fanfic writing.
Anyway, I'm going to go check out my writing for the first time today. If I like what I see it's a great sign. If I hate it it may be a not so good sign. *crosses fingers* I hope to be writing for at least the next six hours.
